Pre-Order Policy

Thank you for your interest in XGATE pre-order products. Please read the following carefully before placing your order.

1. Deposit Requirement

A 50% deposit (or approximate) is required to secure your pre-order. The remaining balance is due on collection or before local dispatch.

2. How to Place Your Deposit

A. Fence Panels (Quantity-Based)

Simply purchase half the quantity you need:

Ordering 10 panels → buy 5 panels as your deposit
Ordering 8 panels → buy 4 panels as your deposit

Ordering an odd number? If you need an odd quantity (e.g. 9 panels), purchase 4 panels as your deposit and contact us to confirm your exact quantity. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll default to the nearest even number (8 panels), as 4 panels paid = 50% deposit for 8 panels.

B. Gates (Price per m²)

For sliding gates and swing gates priced per square metre (m²), purchase approximately half the m² of your order as your deposit.

How to calculate your gate’s m²:

Sliding gate: Measure the usable length (excluding tails) × usable height (excluding wheel height)
Example: 6m long (excl. 335mm tails) × 1.7m high (excl. 65mm wheels) = 10.2 m² → buy 5 m² as deposit
Double swing gate: Total width × height
Example: 4m wide × 1.7m high = 6.8 m² → buy 3 m² as deposit

Because gate dimensions rarely result in exact even numbers, the deposit m² will almost always be approximate. Once you have purchased the approx m², please contact us to confirm your gate size in writing, or send us a drawing or sketch detailing the dimensions.

3. Lead Time

Estimated lead time is approximately 12–20 weeks from order confirmation. Lead times may vary depending on supplier availability and shipping schedules. We will notify you of any significant delays.

4. Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once your deposit is received and your order is placed with our supplier. Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation within 2 business days.

We'll also send a CAD drawing to you to confirm your pre-order details, including the pattern, dimensions, color etc to make sure we are always on the same page.

5. Price Lock

The price is locked in at the time your deposit is placed. No price increases will apply to confirmed pre-orders.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Within 14 days of deposit: You may cancel and receive a full deposit refund, as orders are generally not scheduled for production within the first 14 days of deposit receipt.
Within 14 days — with onsite measurement or CAD drawing issued: A 20% restocking fee (of the total order value) will be deducted from your deposit to cover design and measurement costs incurred.
After 14 days: Deposits are unlikely to be refundable, as production may have already commenced. We recommend contacting us as early as possible if you wish to cancel.
If XGATE cannot fulfil your order due to supplier issues, a full deposit refund will be issued immediately.

7. Collection & Shipping

Kitset options are available for shipping or collection.
Assembled options are available for local delivery or collection only — shipping is not available for assembled panels.
You will be notified when your order is ready for collection or dispatch.
