At XGATE, we supply premium gates, fencing and automation products built for New Zealand conditions. Every product we sell is backed by manufacturer and structural warranties, and our team is here to support you long after installation.

Gate Motors & Automation

All gate motors and automation accessories carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty claims are handled directly through XGATE — contact us and we'll coordinate with the suppliers on your behalf. You won't be left dealing with any manufacturer alone.

Gates & Fencing

Our aluminium sliding gates, swing gates, pedestrian gates, and fencing panels carry a 10-year structural warranty against defects in fabrication and finish. Powder coat finish is warranted against peeling, cracking, and excessive fading under normal conditions.

Gate Hardware

Gate hardware components (hinges, latches, rollers, tracks) carry a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use conditions.

Fixed-Price Installation

Our installation workmanship is warranted for 24 months from the date of installation. If any issue arises from our installation work, we'll return to rectify it at no charge.

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photos or video showing the defect

We'll assess your claim within 2 business days and advise on next steps — whether that's a replacement part, repair, or full replacement.

Maintenance Tips

• Lubricate gate tracks and rollers every 6 months
• Check motor limit settings annually
• Keep gate tracks clear of debris
• Test safety sensors and auto-reverse function monthly
• Open the motor casing annually to remove small insects/spider netting
